An exhilarating Easter awaits at Frégate Island Private, an exclusive luxury island retreat in the Seychelles, and a dream destination on which to be ‘marooned’ with your loved ones for a few precious days of family fun.

Inspiring a child-like sense of wonder amongst adventurous souls of all ages, the spectacular natural tropical environment of “Frégate Island Private” is a feast for the imagination. As grown-ups indulge their castaway fantasies - with private infinity pools and picture-postcard beaches of powdery white sand all to themselves - kids are transported to a mystical lost world of prehistoric giant tortoises, towering banyan trees and legendary pirate treasures.
From 31 March – 9 April 2012, families at Frégate will be spellbound by an exciting daily Easter program. Whilst parents might prefer to relax and allow themselves to be pampered by their personal butler or in the all-natural Rock Spa, their little ones will be right at home discovering Frégate’s forests on a special half-day ‘survival’ course, where they can try zip-lining and rope climbing, and learn how to forage for food in the wild... with an official ‘I survived the forests of Frégate Island’ certificate to commemorate their exploits!

The ultra-luxurious take on Robinson Crusoe escapism continues with fire camps on the beach, complete with toasted marshmallows, storytelling under the night sky, and stargazing with an expert local astronomer; Creole beach parties, where guests of all ages can learn the traditional moutia dance of the Seychelles; and fishing trips in authentic Seychellois fishing boats – with the fresh catch of the day grilled and eaten right on the beach.
Stevenson’s classic Treasure Island is brought to life too, with a search for Frégate own legendary buried pirate treasure – while special activities designed for younger guests include an Easter Egg hunt; egg painting; crab racing; and island crafts such as jewellery making. Guests can also get into swing of island life with a host of other activities, from sailing and an introduction to scuba diving, to an art masterclass with a local artist and Creole cooking lessons with a Seychellois Chef.

After an action packed and fun filled holiday, families can create a lasting connection with the island by joining Frégate’s “Adopt a Tortoise” program!
Experience Easter as never before... on your own island in the Seychelles!
