The Maldives Road Show took place from 1-3 March 2011. Organised by Exclusive Serenity Hotels & Resorts Representation, the "Maldives Road Show 2011" started in Pretoria with a breakfast function at 131 on Herbert Baker Boutique Hotel followed by an evening event in Johannesburg at the Protea Hotel Fire and Ice!

On 2nd March, Durban agents had the opportunity to learn more about Maldives in the evening at Dish Restaurant at the Royal Palm Hotel in Umhlanga Ridge. Finally, the finale took place in Cape Town on 3rd March at the Grand Daddy Hotel in Long Street as an evening cocktail function.

"We had a very good turnout and were overwhelmed by the positive response received from the agents", says Melanie Floor, CEO of Exclusive Serenity. "A big Thank You to all the agents and operators that attended and also to all our exhibiting partners".

The events started with an introduction of Maldives as destination followed by presentations by each of the exhibiting partners which were Coco Palm Resorts, Constance Hotels, Emirates Holidays, Holiday Tours, Naiade Holidays (Diva Resort) and The Holiday Factory. The agent had then the opportunity to mingle and network with the exhibitors and to collect answers for the quiz. In Cape Town, the winner was drawn out of all participants of all four cities.

Congratulations to our lucky winner Jody Pieters from Singita Travel Service in Cape Town. She won a 5 nights stay at Coco Palm Bodu Hithi and R1000 spending money from The Holiday Factory.
