Plettenberg Bay, 15 December 2010. With the year coming to an end, Trogon House and Forest Spa experiences some important management changes. Having created and managed Trogon House since its opening in February 2006, Mynhardt Bester hands over the Management to Richard Rorich.

While Mynhardt Bester will remain the owner of Trogon House and Forest Spa at this stage, Richard Rorich is going to take over the position of the Managing Director and will be in charge of all operations at Trogon House as of 1st February 2011.

Since December 2010, Richard Rorich looks after the guest’s well-being as Manager and Chef at Trogon House. Besides a myriad of work and overseas travel experience, he also successfully completed a Culinary Trainee Program at The Ritz-Carlton Resorts of Naples in Florida. Having spoilt guests at the Crystal Cruises - 6 Star Cruise Ship and the various prestige restaurants all over the world, he found his new calling, to cater for guests at the exclusive treetop lodge.

With his passion for the industry and his creativity, Richard adds a new and fresh spirit to Trogon House and Forest Spa, which will guarantee an even greater guest experience.

The smooth handover ensures no interruption for the guests and whilst Richard has only been at Trogon House for a very short time, he has already received great guest feedback.
