Veuve Clicquot has a long history with polo in Europe and the USA and was delighted to host their first South African polo event which took place on Sunday 17th April 2011 at the Val de Vie Wine & Polo Estate in Paarl. South Africa’s socialites and celebrities geared up in their best designer dresses to mingle at the sophisticated polo event. Coco Palm Resorts brought some Maldivian charm and holiday spirit to the VIP Master Lounge while spoiling guests with foot massages and creating a space of relaxation and peace.
Veuve Clicquot champagne was flowing and a game of pétanque was filling the day with a Côte d'Azur feeling. Another highlight was the performances of the A Capella group D-Seven as well as Lindiwe Suttle, who was performing her brand new debut single, “Man Made Moon”. Sophistication, Glamour and Luxury are the words that describe the day at the Veuve Clicquot Masters best. We are sure that after such a successful occasion, the polo tournament is set to become an annual event in everyone’s calendar.
